Orgone for kids – glow in the dark orgonite

by lena on Jun.25, 2011, under Orgone, Slideshow blog

I was asked by someone to make a piece for a five year old little boy who had some very bad dreams.  After pondering it for a bit I decided to make a glow in the dark orgonite piece with lots of tourmaline and some other things and then see if my stepdaughter could help me write a story to go with the piece, to explain to the boy what it was about in very simple terms.  I went about getting my supplies together for the piece and she wrote the story:

It’s time to go to bed, get tucked in real tight.

Then the lights go off

And the scary things come out and give you a fright.

That’s why we gave you this magical thing

It will take you to a place where the monsters don’t bite and the bees don’t sting

Forget about the monsters and scary things too,

This glow in the dark star will always protect you.

It almost brought me to tears when I read this poem cause it’s just too perfect…  so now we had to go out and find a star shaped mold since the only stars I had were very small and I needed enough mass in the piece to make it effective.  At Michael’s they have these silicone star shaped muffin molds so we got one of those to try.  I cast a very thin first layer with lots of glow powder, then another layer with metal and crystals and colored resin – they came out pretty cute:

Charging in the sun…

Here is what they look like when they glow:

I have some more glow in the dark colors I’m going to cast this way and once I have them made I will post more pictures.  You can charge these pieces in the sun or under a light and they will glow for a half hour or so, slowly fading out… at least the time it takes most kids to go to sleep :-)

I thought the story was so wonderful that I wanted to share.

Instant results

by lena on Mar.24, 2011, under Nature, Orgone, Slideshow blog

There is this place we have passed a few times that just feels dreadful though it is set in a beautiful location in the mountains in South Carolina.

Once time we drove by we discussed that we HAD TO find a way to the top of this mountain so we could gift this array and had a couple of unsuccessful trips, where once we just “could not find it” and another time it got dark before we got there so we decided to save it for a special day. Today was this day Smile

We had done our homework and had a pretty good idea of how to get there. All we brought was a bucket of tower busters – nothing fancy, just plain TB’s.

This is what it looked like from a distance:

Getting real close…

When we got up there we had four hawks greet us with an “over here”…

We circled the whole place with TB’s and had quite instant results – all within a half hour:

How much fun is this :-)

Wayseers…

by lena on Mar.16, 2011, under Favorite quotes, Slideshow blog

This made me dance in the yard… might go out in the dark later to dance some more…  This is the kind of dancing that makes one grateful to be alive and really makes you feel your connection between heaven and earth…

Standing fairy and I Ching

by lena on Feb.21, 2011, under Orgone, Slideshow blog

After I posted yesterdays HHG’s on Warrior Matrix Trixxy came up with the idea that it would be great to get the fairy to stand up in a glass like this… so I had to try it today and this is how it came out:

Then I had gotten these I Ching coins so I tried casting one and like the way it came out:

I love the way the tip came out:

February pouring

by lena on Feb.20, 2011, under Orgone, Slideshow blog

After a very cold winter it has finally started to feel a little warmer and so found and spent a day in my “creative” space where I got to pour some just fun stuff :-)

Some of the pieces have just one large stone on the top, like citrine, emerald or ruby.  Some of them have little metal charms –  all these pieces have already been promised away :-)

Am curious to find out if they have any application for the curing process in orgonite.  So far I have only played with them with crystals and found that smaller and flatter Lemurians will make the tone sound higher whereas the larger ones hold the tone for longer, though more subdued.  Funny thing, we have a cat who is very energy sensitive, to a point where she will come running whenever we hug, wanting to catch the good vibe :-)  When I started dinging the forks she came running and would not leave… and once I was done decided to bless the forks in her own way.

Rough rocks

by lena on Jan.23, 2011, under Crystals, Slideshow blog

We met up with a wonderful new friend who gifted us with some amazing crystals – so beautiful that I had to share.  This is only part of what he gave us, banded amethyst, dravite tourmaline, garnet, rutilated quartz, rubies, emeralds and more…  Can’t wait to get a nice pour going with some of these new rocks…  The Tibetans are just amazing – they were hand harvested by monks from a monastery in Tibet.

Here is the tray of the ones I chose to take pictures of:

Enjoy!

Gifting the Dolphins

by lena on Oct.13, 2010, under Nature, Orgone, Slideshow blog

We went to Charleston for the day yesterday and Dennis wanted to go see his pod of dolphin friends to see how they were doing. Unfortunately we got there a little late for me to be able to get perfect pictures but it was an amazing experience as usual :-)

As soon as we arrived on the beach he threw a few TB’s into the water and said they would show up within minutes – and he was right. There was an incredible moment of seeing a whole school of fish jump out of the water right where he had thrown them… I laughed and said the dolphins hadn’t showed up yet but he told me that the reason the fish all jumped up like that was because a dolphin was below them picking up a TB and he was right… and then the pod showed up. The puppy was just as amazed as we were and it was great fun watching them pick up the pieces. We walked up on a bridge and threw a few more and I got some more pictures from that angle as the sun was going down.

Animals getting along just fine

by lena on Oct.10, 2010, under Nature, Slideshow blog

About two months ago we got ourselves a little puppy… and of course the cats have just hated the whole idea… but a couple of them are slowly coming around to it and now hold their ground when the pup gets overly excited upon seeing them. The oldest cat, Momcat…. has not taken to the idea at all and has pretty much refused to come inside the house at all so I’ve been feeding her out on the porch and spend as much time as I can out there with her so she doesn’t feel left out. I figured that once it gets cold she’ll want to come inside again and have not worried about it too much.

The cats like to come walking with me and have done so since they were small kittens – they get very excited when I put my hiking shoes on but now that I’m walking the dog they stopped doing it. The other day they started again… with Momcat in the lead… and it’s the funniest thing when I’m out walking the dog and the cats are following.

Momcat has even started following us when we are out walking on the road and it’s becoming a bit of a concern for me since she stays away from cars when she’s on her own but expects me to stop them when I’m there… so I’m now trying to be sneaky and feed her before going so she will not follow, but she does anyway. I’ve had to change my route so we stay away from the road…

This morning we got some more company – three visiting ducks and it was the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time, one dog, two cats and three ducks all trailing along.

Of course the whole area has been gifted with the intent that all animals will get along and be safe and we even have a deer with two little one who shows no fear when she comes to visit :-)
