September pieces

by lena on Sep.21, 2009, under Orgone, Slideshow blog

This has been such a busy month that I haven’t made as many arty pieces as I would have liked. Most of the ones below have already been sent to their new homes. A little boy asked me to make him an orgonite volcano and I played with glitters to see if I could make an HHG that would look anything like it. It doesn’t exactly look like a volcano but I do love the way it came out so I made some more in different colors along the same line. They do look very bright and cheerful :-)
Another friend sent me a mold so I could make little dolphins but unfortunately the mold was rubber, not silicone and it melted into the pieces. I managed to clean some of them up and think they came out pretty cute, though I will not be able to make any more unless I find a better mold.
Had an idea for some different looking pendants and so tried to make them. I cast some little silver and copper pendants into resin and then made a backing with plain nano lemurian orgonite and a Lemurian seed crystal – love the way they turned out with the black background and will think about adding different gemstones in the next batch.

Lemurian seed crystal movie

by lena on Sep.14, 2009, under Crystals, Lemurians, Slideshow blog

Had some fun the other day making my very first youtube movie. It is a slide show of pictures of one special Lemurian and I used a lightbox to get the colors showing it off.

Vogel cut crystals

by lena on Sep.07, 2009, under Crystals, Slideshow blog

Marcel Vogel was a scientist who worked for IBM.  He did a lot of experiments between nature/human and discovered something…

Marcel discovered that the greatest cohering agent is love.  This, of course, set him apart from his fellow scientists.  At a time when many still don’t acknowledge that an observer affects what they are observing, the notion of love was a totally unscientific idea.  Even when cloaked in the garb of a term like resonance it was unacceptable.  To Marcel, love was (and is) a pure force.  Certainly we experience it as an emotion, but this is our experience of something that is beyond emotion.  He likened it to gravity, an attracting and cohering force present at every level of existence.  Without this relationship an important aspect of scientific investigation is missing, preventing us from discovering and exploring the more, perhaps most, subtle aspects of life.

This is one reason why certain scientific investigations in the area of subtle energies cannot be readily replicated.  It is not always a matter of scientific protocol, but a matter of relationship.  Unfortunately many scientists would consider this to be some kind of inessential and perhaps bothersome epiphenomena.  Although such individuals are scientists, to Marcel, they were technicians attempting to prove what they already thought was true.  The true scientist is one who attempts to discover with childlike curiosity.  Too often we, all of us,  only want to confirm what we already believe.

Here are some pictures I took of one:

Summer 2009 Orgone

by lena on Sep.01, 2009, under Orgone, Slideshow blog

It has been an amazing summer and so much fun was had that I was too busy to make much playful orgonite.  Made lots and lots of TB’s and a few charging plates that have all gone to good homes :-)

I tried making an experimental mini CB with small pipes and lots of nano orgonite with extra minerals in layers and it is really sweet.  The glow in the dark stuff is getting better but unfortunately it doesn’t glow bright for very long after a charge.

Linville Falls

by lena on Sep.01, 2009, under Nature, Slideshow blog

There is a special fascination with waterfalls when you get to see the power of water in motion.  Linville falls in North Carolina are well worth visiting and an amazing place to spend some time – a place where the sound of the water will help you find you peace and the surrounding nature can take your breath away :-)

Linville Caverns

by lena on Sep.01, 2009, under Nature, Slideshow blog

After much searching we found a place in North Carolina we could visit some caverns.  Linville caverns is off the 221 highway and it’s a beautiful drive getting there.  The caverns are found inside a mountain called “Humpback Mountain” and they have a visitor center set up with guides taking you inside.  There were a lot of amazing rock formations waiting to get photographed :-)

Orange orb

by lena on Sep.01, 2009, under Nature, Slideshow blog

Went driving in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina the other day and took some pictures of a place we had visited and gifted before.  Once I came home and saw the pictures I saw this thing… which seemed to hang out in this one spot.  I took quite a few pictures of the panoramic view and there are none in the other shots, just in this particular spot in two shots, like flickering in and out.   I have enlarged it to get a closer look, it almost looks like a jellyfish.
